Beyond the Classroom...
Outdoor Education
Time outdoors is integral to our whole educational approach, as we believe that learning with all five senses is essential for effective development and ensuring deep and lasting learning. Our spacious garden provides an ideal outdoor learning environment, serving as a dynamic space for educational activities throughout the day and especially making sure children get abundant fresh air and plenty of physical movement each and everyday. Children spend time outdoors learning, playing, discovering and connecting everyday, contributing to their overall well being, as well as enhancing their capacity to retain their learning deeply and effectively.
Even when we are indoors, our classrooms are designed with wide windows and open layouts, so that children have constant engagement with nature.
Festivals, Family Fun Days and Field Trips!
We also prioritise physical activity and learning through outdoor exploration, plannning a wide range of interesting and exciting field trips and excursions throughout the year. Day trips and excursions serve as valuable educational experiences, and provide special opportunities for teacher-student interaction outside the classroom.
Along with outings and excursions off-site, we also organise a variety of fun and interesting activities on that take place on our Campus throughout the year, including Family Fun Days where students present their "Do Your Best" projects, as well as Seasonal and Cultural Festivals including: Winter Festival, Harvest Lantern Festival, Purelli Festival, and Sports Festival.

Trips Abroad
At Ütopya, we aim to broaden our students' horizons through immersive international experiences. Each year we offer different opportunities for students to participate in group study programs, and engage in enriching learning experiences abroad. Programs include traveling both domestically and internationally to diverse cultural settings all over the world, as part of our involvement in "European Union Projects" and "Sister School" initiatives.
We believe these opportunities are not only very fun and memorable, but they also enhance students' language skills, cultural awareness and contribute to their personal growth, independence, and global awareness, overall helping them become more conscious and responsible global citizens.
Since 2007, students have had the opportunity to participate in International trips abroad to:
Japan, Malta, Poland, Germany, England, Sweden, Portugal, Denmark, Finland,
Greece, Spain, Slovenia, France, Italy, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Czechia.

Bi-Annual International Congress
Our Bi-Annual International Congress serves as a vital platform for teacher professional development and parent engagement. As part of our commitment to professional development and school improvement, every second year we bring together educators, parents, and stakeholders from around the world to exchange ideas, share best practices, and practice collaboration in education.
Through a series of workshops, seminars, and keynote speeches, which take place over 3 days, teachers gain valuable insights into innovative teaching methods, curriculum development, and student support strategies. Additionally, parents actively participate in discussions, workshops, and informational sessions focused on enhancing their involvement in their children's education and supporting their academic journey.
