"At Ütopya, our priority is for every child to be

safe, secure, loved, healthy, happy, successful"

Health and Safety

At Ütopya, the safety and well-being of our students and the whole school community is our top priority. Ensuring safety and hygiene is a fundamental aspect of our daily practices and whiole school culture.

Our Campus is well designed to be safe and secure, so that children can enjoy their time freely and comfortably without concern. In the case of accident or emergency, we have all the necessary facilities and procedures in place to ensure that our environment is safe and well managed for both children and all school community members.

Our classrooms and garden are equipped with wash basins to instill healthy habits from the start. Embedded in our whole educational approach includes lessons on proper handwashing, personal hygiene, table manners, and eating habits.

To ensure the well-being of all our students, we implement a sickness policy mandating a doctor's report for a child's return to school following a contagious illness. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in working together to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

Beyond daily safety, we take care to consider the holistic health of our school community.  We care for and respect our bodies and minds through role modeling a very intentional and thoughtful relationship to food. The daily homemade lunch and healthy snacks we provide demonstrate clearly to children the importance of a healthy and balanced diet, along with an appreciation for seasonal ingredients and a willingness to try all new and different foods. This highlights our fundamental value of developing curiosity, respect and responsibility in an integrated and meaningful way. To support a strong and resilient immune system, we encourage children to play outside in all weather conditions, of course in a safe and responsible way.

Taking care of the land is part of our daily responsibilities
